Lateral Property Group has confirmed that Nando’s will become the latest restaurant to open at its Parliament Street development in Harrogate creating 45 new jobs.
Nando’s joins Jamie’s Italian, The Pit, Wagamama and Restaurant Bar & Grill on Parliament Street confirming the street as the main dining and leisure destination in the town.
The most recent additions to the Parliament Street line up, Jamie’s and The Pit have opened to rave reviews since opening for the Tour de France in July.
Contracts have been exchanged between Nando’s and Lateral and fitting out works on the proposed restaurant will begin immediately with Nando’s opening its doors to the public in the New Year.
Lateral Property’s Harriett Renny, said: In the consumer research we carried out, Nando’s was a brand that was clearly in demand. We are delighted to have been involved in bringing Nando’s to Harrogate.
Nando’s will perfectly compliment the already popular Jamie’s Italian and The Pit, adding to Harrogate’s strong blend of national chains and independent businesses.
Doesn’t mention the best place to eat which is beers and burgers. Well kept ales and the best burgers in Yorkshire.
I agree it would a good to have smoke free play ground.
Harrogate used to be so unique – why oh why saturate the place with these brands? Tesco have struggled to get in but HBC and the locals seem quite happy to be overcome by chains of restaurants instead of encouraging the little guys like they used to! Very sad situation!
